Ash Hollow State Historical Park Trails
Ash Hollow State Historical Park offers nine miles of hiking on four different trails. Among the most popular trails is the path that leads visitors to the crest of Windlass Hill, where the deep ruts carved by thousands of covered wagons are still visible.
Scotts Bluff National
Monument Trails
With nearly 4 miles of hiking trails, Scotts Bluff National Monument is a great place to enjoy the benefits of exercise and fresh air. Monument trails are open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week, year round.
Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area Trails
Throughout the year, hikers, bikers and equestrian riders at Wildcat Hills enjoy more than 3 miles of trails through the canyons and rocky bluffs of the park. Each route courses through a mosaic of upland plant life.
Chimney Rock Historic Site Trail
Chimney Rock Trail is a 1 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Bayard, Nebraska that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels.
Courthouse & Jail Rock Trails
There are short, steep trails that will give you closer and personal views of Courthouse & Jail Rocks. New seating and improved trails will help you make the most of the short yet vigorous hike.
Agate Fossil
Beds Trails
The monument's two hiking trails lead to the Niobrara River valley sites where the paleontologists found fossils. The length of the two trails combined is over 4 miles long.
