Bayard Depot
Museum
The Legacy of the Plains Museum boasts a collection of pioneer and early community artifacts, antique tractors, and farm implements. Come live the timeless stories of the Nebraska prairie.
This community museum is housed in what was once a Burlington Northern Railroad depot The museum contains many Bayard artifacts, and even a 100 year old cookie on display!

The Pioneer Trails Museum is located on numerous historic trails. Guests enjoy many interesting items from local early-settler history as well as Indian artifacts on display at the museum.
The Rock School Museum contains a large collection of arrowheads, pioneer memorabilia, fossils, farm machinery and local history.

Cowboy Museum
The Silver Hill Museum includes local celebrity Miles Maryott’s collection of local birds, period tableaux, and the original theater movie projector.
The Cowboy Museum at Front Street has many cowboy artifacts and history. Experience old west life in the early days of Ogallala - the north end of Texas cattle drives.

& Art Gallery
Mansion on the Hill has many unique features, including ten foot ceilings, sixteen inch thick solid brick walls, walnut shuttered windows, and solid brass hardware throughout.
The Petrified Wood & Art Gallery showcases ancient woods and fossils from around the world plus Native American arrowheads and artifacts -- many from within 25 miles of Ogallala.
